About the Role

This position is an opportunity to lead academic activities, focusing on clinical exercise physiology within Exercise & Sport Science and Clinical Exercise Physiology courses.

Work with a state-wide team, fostering a positive workplace culture.

  • Lead the development of new interprofessional experiences and discipline-specific content across allied health courses.
  • Develop and maintain productive links inside the University and with the wider Tasmanian community, industry, and profession.
  • Facilitate quality work-integrated learning experiences for students, ensuring a scaffolded, connected, and supported pedagogical experience.
  • Focus on student work-integrated learning and placement activities.
Qualifications and Experience

Academic Level D - Completion of a PhD Degree in a relevant health discipline (or equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience).

Current registration as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).

Strong experience working as an accredited exercise physiologist, within a multidisciplinary allied health team, or in the high-performance sport industry.
