Job Title: Technology Compliance and Governance Manager

Jetstar is seeking a highly skilled Technology Compliance and Governance Manager to join our Technology Risk and Compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of our Technology Compliance Frameworks, which protect customer and employee data, maintain cyber posture, and ensure technology resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of Technology Compliance Frameworks, ensuring adherence to IT change management processes and frameworks.
  • Manage the technology issue register, ensuring it is current and work closely with issue leads and owners on remediation to improve technology's risk posture.
  • Collaborate with technology and business domains to refine process and documentation for ongoing compliance.
  • Provide key support during initial investigation in event of a privacy or cyber related incident.
  • Manage and monitor technology risk and resilience activities for business units and service partners.
  • Provide information to auditors and work closely with assurance leads during internal and external assessments.
  • Escalate emerging risks and issues, participate in resolution and mitigation to senior management and across business units.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business, IT or relevant on-the-job experience.
  • Extensive experience in leading BAU compliance monitoring and management activities to achieve business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated strong compliance mindset, commitment to business improvement and risk management.
  • Experience working in cross-functional risk and compliance programs and activities involving multiple and diverse business teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong people leadership skills, managing and supporting team performance and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build constructive and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to interact effectively through formal and informal networks.
  • Ability to generate improvement ideas and strategies and translate into detailed approaches and plans.
