Technology Compliance and Governance Manager

Jetstar is seeking a highly skilled Technology Compliance and Governance Manager to join our Technology Risk and Compliance team.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working at our Jetstar HQ in Collingwood, with flexibility to work from home. As a member of our team, you will be encouraged to think innovatively and develop best practices to help our business work smarter and more efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key activities of Jetstar's Technology Compliance Frameworks, which protect customer and employee data, maintain cyber posture, and ensure technology resilience. You will work closely with the technology risk and resilience team to lead the technology compliance objectives of Jetstar's business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring adherence to IT change management processes and frameworks through structured governance processes
- Managing service engagement and transition process, working with technology delivery leads, projects teams, and product managers
- Providing key support during initial investigation in event of a privacy or cyber related incident
- Managing and monitoring technology risk and resilience activities for business units and service partners
- Providing information to auditors and working closely with assurance leads during internal and external assessments
- Escalating emerging risks and issues, participating in resolution and mitigation to senior management and across business units
- Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders across Jetstar and the Qantas Group to maintain quality and efficiency within the risk management programs
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, IT, or relevant on-the-job experience
- Extensive experience in leading BAU compliance monitoring and management activities to achieve business outcomes
- Demonstrated strong compliance mindset, commitment to business improvement, and risk management
- Experience working in cross-functional risk and compliance programs and activities involving multiple and diverse business teams and stakeholders
- Strong people leadership skills, managing and supporting team performance and growth
- Demonstrated ability to build constructive and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to interact effectively through formal and informal networks
- Ability to generate improvement ideas and strategies and translate into detailed approaches and plans
