We are seeking a skilled and experienced tyre fitter to join our team at our flagship Onslow Iron Operation.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a 30+ year mine life project that will redefine mining in Western Australia through world-first autonomous road trains, industry leading dust free transport and innovative tran-shipping.
The successful candidate will have experience with heavy vehicle or mobile plant machinery, a strong commitment to safety and quality of work, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- A Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Fitting
- Demonstrated experience with heavy haulage fleet operations
About The Role
This full-time permanent position offers a 2/1 roster with rotating day and night shifts, including Fly In, Fly Out from Perth WA.
You will play a crucial part within our team supporting our haulage operations by monitoring and diagnosing tyre damage and wear, removing and replacing wheels, performing emergency tyre repairs on our impressive fleet of Kenworth road trains.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and contributing to a safe working environment.

About Our Project
Onslow Iron is a major iron ore project located 150 kilometres east of Onslow, Western Australia. The project will ship around 35 million tonnes of iron ore per year and is expected to have a mine life of more than 30 years.
The project encompasses the Ken's Bore mine, Onslow Port infrastructure and Onslow Truck Maintenance Facility.
