About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Health Services Manager to join our team of care professionals. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a permanent, full-time capacity at our facility, contributing to the delivery of quality clinical care to our residents.

As Health Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our residents' clinical and health outcomes are met and understood by overseeing the activities of our clinical team. You will also be responsible for maintaining clinical excellence within the home, adhering to Anglicare policies, procedures, and best practices, and continually improving standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will establish effective communication between the multidisciplinary team within the facility and other relevant staff.
  • You will work closely with residents' families, ensuring they are informed about clinical issues affecting their loved ones.
  • You will contribute to the effective functioning of the team through mentoring staff and sharing clinical knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as Health Services Manager or senior Registered Nurse within aged care.
  • A 'hands-on' approach to ensuring quality clinical care.
  • The ability to supervise, delegate, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to upholding the values of Anglicare.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
  • Postgraduate study in relevant disciplines (geriatrics, dementia, palliative care) highly desirable.
