The Role:

This role involves providing person-centred care and support to customers in their homes, assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Providing medication assistance and administration
  • Supporting with domestic tasks, such as light household cleaning and meal preparation
  • Accompanying customers to social activities, shopping, and medical appointments
  • Assisting with the use of aids and equipment, such as wheelchairs and hoists
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services
  • HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
