About the Role

Life Without Barriers is seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to provide personalized support to seniors in their homes on the Sunshine Coast. This casual opportunity offers flexibility, with hours available between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Australian Driver's Licence and be willing to travel, as transport is an essential aspect of this role. You will work independently, but as part of a dedicated leadership team that provides support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic assistance duties, including light cleaning, laundry, and changing bed linen
  • In-home supports, such as meal preparation, daily living assistance, and personal care
  • Social supports, including attending medical appointments, social activities, and building/maintaining social networks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability, or similar)
  • Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a registered vehicle
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
