About the Role

The Theatre Coordinator acts as the central point of contact for all perioperative communications, ensuring seamless coordination and effective issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during shifts, collaborating with relevant staff to resolve them promptly.
  • E nsure all required instruments, equipment, and stock are available, promoting a well-organized theatre environment.
  • Coordinate staff allocation and verify operating lists for the next day by comparing them with emailed surgeons' lists.
  • Foster clear communication among staff and manage breaks effectively.
About You
  • Clinical experience in the perioperative area is essential.
  • You have a solid understanding of clinical standards and operating procedures.
  • You prioritize best practice and promote a culture of prioritizing best patient outcomes.
  • Understanding of theatre flow is crucial for success in this role.

Salary

This role comes with a competitive salary package, estimated at AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
