The Women's and Children's Health Network is seeking a skilled Theatre Support Specialist to join their Surgical Services team.
Role OverviewThis exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art healthcare facility, providing support to surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and medical staff with patient preparation, positioning, and transfer during procedures.
- Maintain a safe and organized operating room environment, adhering to strict hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Certificate III or IV in a relevant field, such as health services or hospital operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong understanding of infection control principles and practices.
This position comes with an attractive annual salary package, including employer superannuation contributions and leave loading. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to maximise your salary through salary sacrifice arrangements.
