Theatre Orderly Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Theatre Orderly to join our Surgical Services team at the Women's and Children's Health Network in North Adelaide.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist Registered Nurses in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient and surgical information.
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in the cleaning and disinfection of equipment and the operating theatre environment.
  • Assist with the transport of patients and equipment as required.

Requirements:



  • Certificate III or IV in a relevant healthcare field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic life support skills and ability to respond in emergency situations.
  • Confidentiality and information security policies and procedures.
