We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Allied Health support to our NDIS participants.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload and provide therapeutic services to participants
- Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each participant's needs
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support
- Recommend Assistive Technology to promote independence and functional abilities
- Maintain awareness of current legislation and ensure compliance
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proactive attitude and a passion for working in the disability sector
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
