About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality Allied Health support to our NDIS participants. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and delivering therapeutic services to individuals with varying levels of functional limitations and capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based.
  • Support and advise on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
  • Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence.
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
