Project Coordinators play a vital role in supporting our teams and ensuring the success of our projects. We are looking for an experienced Project Support Specialist to join our team.

This role involves providing practical project support to our project teams, prioritizing work depending on operational requirements and running multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will be adept at working in multi-faceted environments, juggling priorities accordingly and managing their workload effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of detail and accuracy, commercial acumen and excellent communication skills. They will also be highly organized, able to multitask and show initiative when required.

Key responsibilities of this role include providing project support to all current and future projects, creating and maintaining the project master schedule, acting as the primary point of contact in the project management office and scheduling project stakeholder meetings.

They will also be responsible for preparing minutes and documenting actions, ensuring resources are allocated accordingly and capturing critical project information, including schedule, milestones, resourcing, costs and risks.

In addition, the successful candidate will provide administration support to the managing director, leaders and other project managers, assist with capturing and documenting the work breakdown structures and capture project contract change procedure and RAID logs.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess a Certificate IV in Project Management, Prince 2 practitioner certification and experience using Jira or other project tools.

They should also have a technical background in ICT, Technology or Engineering, high-level MS Office skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Job Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Current or recently inactive AGSVA clearance
  • High level of detail and accuracy
  • Commercial acumen
  • Project Support or Project Management experience
  • Cert 4 in Project Management & Prince 2 practitioner
  • Technical background in ICT, Technology or Engineering
  • Experience using Jira or other project tools
  • Highly experienced using MS office suite
