We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer/Drafter to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Import and manipulate vendor drawings/models, producing detailed mechanical drawings/models including P&IDs.
  • Export equipment/piping quantities and collaborate with Mechanical/Process engineers to deliver plans for construction.
  • Support project teams with documentation, revisions, and coordination of drawings/models.

This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, or Brisbane.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • You'll be working on various projects, including water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
  • Proficient in CAD software, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Autodesk Plant 3D.
  • Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

About You:
  • You'll have experience working in consulting environments, delivering projects.
  • A relevant TAFE qualification, diploma, or degree in drafting, engineering, or design.
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, operational practices, and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Plant 3D proficiency.
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
  • Relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes knowledge.
