About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinician to make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse clients who are at various stages of care and recovery from significant trauma, neglect, and disrupted attachment.

As a Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients by developing therapeutic treatment plans guided by the Neurosequential model to create better outcomes for Children, Young People, and Families in the recovery of trauma.

The successful candidate will have the skills and expertise to conduct clinical work with adolescents and provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families.

The ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and community is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop therapeutic treatment plans to support client recovery and well-being.
  • Conduct clinical work with adolescents and their families.
  • Provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree level or higher qualification in a Health or Welfare related field such as Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Family Therapy, Speech Pathology, Art Therapy, or related discipline.
  • Significant experience conducting clinical work with adolescents.
  • Sound understanding of trauma and its impacts on attachment and developmental milestones for young people.
