Environmental Planning and Approvals Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Planning and Approvals Lead to join our team. This is a career-defining opportunity to lead a high-performance team in environmental approvals and impact assessments for clients in the renewable, mining, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
Main Responsibilities- Support clients in securing major project approvals for renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
- Lead and manage an approvals and planning team to drive outcomes that create tangible value for clients.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to secure environmental approvals and manage related risks.
- Build and grow a high-performing team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the nation and globe to support the growth and development of our Capital Project Delivery service area.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental planning or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in environmental planning and approvals, impact assessment, and working within legislative requirements.
- High degree of technical competence in environmental planning and approvals, due diligence, land use planning, post-approval management, and broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices.
- Solid experience building sustaining relationships with major clients.
- Authorisation to work in Australia.
