Australian aviation is experiencing a significant ramp up in operations across various regions.

This has created a vital role for the Catering Team Member, working closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional dining experience onboard airline customers' flights. The position involves performing a range of tasks across our kitchen, bar preparation, and wash areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing elements for meal delivery, ensuring adherence to visual guidelines.
  • Stocking airline carts with dry store items, including equipment, snacks, and beverages.
  • Loading and unloading wash lines, maintaining cutlery, crockery, and glassware in pristine condition.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and HACCP guidelines, adhering to hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
  • Effective communication and coordination with team members to meet delivery timelines.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sound numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and move/lift items.
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day roster.
  • Neat and tidy presentation.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP (desirable but not essential).
  • Basic knife skills (desirable but not essential).
  • A clear National Police Check, as required by the Aviation Services industry.
  • Availability to work 38 hours/week, commensurate with a full-time permanent position.
