About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide expert advice and guidance to employees on a wide range of HR matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees, providing assistance with HR policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Coach employees on self-service options, empowering them to find information independently.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specific areas, providing education and acting as a point of escalation for complex queries.
  • Update Local Work Instructions, Hub pages, and Workday with policy changes and process improvements.
  • Ensure timely action and updates to the HRIS (Workday).
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders, including Workforce Evolution, HR Partners, Leader Support, and Payroll, as needed.
Key Accountabilities
  • Case Management (50%): Manage cases through Salesforce and Veridian, delivering quality advice on HR policies, onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Continuous Improvement (25%): Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experience, promoting self-service, and evolving service offerings based on feedback.
  • HRIS Audits & Governance (5%): Support payroll, Workday, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (10%): Assist with health and safety assessments, pre-employment medicals, and related training.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly Workday and Salesforce.
  • Experience in case management and HR processes.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
