Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Service Assistant to join our team at Amentum. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in Meal Preparation: Assist with tasks such as chopping vegetables, making salads, and assembling entrees.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the kitchen area is clean and sanitized, and handle dishwashing duties.
  • Inventory Control: Receive and stock food supplies as needed.
  • Stocking and Organization: Ensure food and beverage areas are well-stocked and organized.
  • Serving Customers: Deliver food and beverage orders promptly.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to regulations for food safety and hygiene.
  • Setup and Cleanup: Assist with preparing and cleaning dining areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service and address any issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in food service or a related field is ideal.
  • Kitchen Skills: Ability to follow instructions and safely operate kitchen equipment.
  • Hygiene Knowledge: Understand hygiene and food safety rules.
  • Physical Stamina: The job involves standing, lifting heavy items, and working in a fast-paced environment.
