Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Demand and Inventory Manager to play a critical role in our Supply Chain and Logistics department. This position is responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and control of inventory and logistics to meet Service and Sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of sales planning, opportunity management, and data analysis to forecast demand accurately.

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for machines and spare parts using statistical tools.
  • Analyse historical sales, market trends, seasonality, and inventory data to create and adjust forecasts.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer and business requirements while avoiding excess stock.

This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as a proactive approach to work and tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Skillset:
Solid sales planning and opportunity management experience
Proven ability to analyse data and trends to forecast demand accurately
Proficiency in managing effective inventory levels, safety stock and reorder points
Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software (e.g. Oracle JDE or SAP)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
High degree of proficiency in Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective stakeholder management ability
Deadline focused with a proactive and positive approach to work and tasks
