Job Title: Public Area Cleaner

We are seeking experienced service-focused professionals to clean and maintain hotel public areas. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

  • Clean and maintain hotel public areas as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
  • Assist Room Attendants as requested and respond to guest requests
  • Maintain guest room pantries and ensure all equipment is clean and in working order
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any guest complaints promptly

Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring all public areas are well-maintained, and providing a welcoming environment for guests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess full Australian working rights
  • Have a proven track record of cleaning and maintenance experience
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrate good communication skills
  • Available to work an average of 4 days on a rotating roster
  • Be willing and able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Be reliable, honest and accountable
