Role Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a Public Area Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our public spaces, ensuring they meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all public areas, including indoor and outdoor spaces, pools, gyms, and shared bathrooms
  • Work efficiently and effectively to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with room attendants to support with room cleaning and linen removal as needed
  • Handle specialized equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
  • Report any maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or missing items to the relevant teams in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly valued
  • Excellent communication skills, with a warm and welcoming approach
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
