Job Description:

Western Power is seeking a skilled professional to lead our data processes and billing accuracy. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely revenue forecasts, overseeing invoicing processes, and implementing new procedures to ensure compliance.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and elevate billing practices, supporting timely credit/debt management. You will be responsible for creating and implementing new procedures to ensure compliance, addressing both immediate and long-term needs.

We are looking for an experienced professional with advanced conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills. If you have strong stakeholder management and communication skills, proven success in implementing business process improvements, and experience with data modelling techniques, this may be the ideal role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecast with Precision: Provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts that influence pricing, planning, and budgeting decisions.
  • Ensure Billing Accuracy: Oversee invoicing processes to prevent billing errors and protect our reputation.
  • Innovate for the Future: Create and implement new procedures to ensure compliance, addressing both immediate and long-term needs.
  • Manage Data & Reporting: Conduct data management, analysis, forecasting, and modelling. Resolve data issues and maintain high-quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • An experienced professional with sound professional experience in business analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven success in implementing business process improvements.
  • Strong experience with the use of data modelling techniques to provide accurate, reliable forecast and analysis to support business planning and decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with solid experience in delivering accurate, timely and relevant corporate and enterprise reporting.
