Job Title: Secondary Design Engineer

This role involves collaboration with project teams to design and develop protection and control systems for successful project delivery in Australia and New Zealand.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical work scopes or manage project scopes for the secondary design of protection and control systems, including substation automation systems (SAS).
  • Support the development of secondary system designs from conceptual through preliminary and detailed design stages, including fabrication, assembly, production test, validation test, site installation, start-up test, and commissioning.
  • Lead or manage design and related technical scope from conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design stages, ensuring successful completion of regulatory design certification or plant licensing, procurement packages, and supplier hand-offs.
  • Collaborate with system supplier implementation teams to develop, perform, and review unit, module, system, and integration test plans, procedures, and reports, including factory acceptance test, site acceptance test, construction, pre-operational, and start-up tests.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering
