Land Development Project Manager Job

This role involves delivering detailed project plans for subdivisions, roads, drainage, sewer, water, and utilities.

Responsibilities include preparing comprehensive AutoCAD Civil 3D / 12D models, stormwater analysis, and technical drawings, as well as coordinating with councils, service authorities, surveyors, contractors, and planners to ensure project approvals and smooth delivery.

The successful candidate will also contribute to feasibility studies, master planning, and cost estimates, provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs and resolving on-site design queries.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate project documentation, timesheets, and quality processes, fostering strong client relationships, and supporting junior engineers and drafters by sharing technical knowledge and reviewing work.

  • Deliver the design and documentation of subdivisions, roads, drainage, sewer, water, and utilities.
  • Prepare detailed AutoCAD Civil 3D / 12D models, stormwater analysis, and technical drawings.
  • Coordinate with councils, service authorities, surveyors, contractors, and planners to ensure project approvals and smooth delivery.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies, master planning, and cost estimates.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
  • Demonstrated experience in land development, subdivisions, or infrastructure projects (residential and/or industrial).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or 12D (required).
  • Strong understanding of stormwater, drainage, and utility design.
  • Knowledge of WA land development processes, planning requirements, and council approvals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce professional reports and liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage budgets, project timelines, and deliverables.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to mentor and collaborate.
