Overview

Senior Civil Design Engineer in the Land Infrastructure Team. You will guide purposeful work that supports the future of the land infrastructure sector, collaborating with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to explore integrated solutions and partner with clients to help build a more sustainable world.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Technical Leader – take a lead role on civil design infrastructure projects, maintaining involvement from the bid stage through design and delivery.
  • Supporting development – work with a team of civil engineers, designers and drafters to contribute to the design and construction of civil infrastructure across private and government projects.
  • Client facing – develop into a client leader role, grow your network, and deliver innovative solutions to fit client needs.
  • Personal growth – expand technical skills and leadership abilities with guidance from the Aurecon support network.
  • Collaborating across disciplines – work with engineers across Aurecon to explore creative and efficient project solutions.
  • Providing insights with care – share informed guidance to support inclusive decision-making within the Land Infrastructure team.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 6+ years of proven design and management experience in road, earthworks, drainage, and general civil infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of key client design standards (Main Roads WA, Public Transport Authority, mining clients, Local Government Authorities, Service Authorities)
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills in complex multi-disciplinary environments
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD (desirable but not essential)
  • On-site credentials (e.g., white card) and a valid driver's licence
  • Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable but not essential)
