**Are you passionate about helping others thrive in the water?**Churches of Christ is on the lookout for an energetic and committed** Swim Instructor/Lifeguard**to join our team at** the Little Mountain Aquatic Centre.**

You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons, promoting water safety, and helping our community feel right at home in the water.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Deliver safe and engaging** "Learn to Swim"**programs tailored to individual needs
- Assess swimmer ability, track progress, and provide feedback to students and families
- Set up and pack down equipment before/after lessons
- Keep the pool area clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Support continuous improvement in lesson delivery and aquatic programs
- Potential for additional shifts and duties based on qualifications and experience.

**What You'll Bring**:
**Essential**:

- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching **'Learn to Swim'** programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current National Police Check, Working with Children (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain

**Desirable**:

- AUSTSWIM / Swim Australia Teacher of Babies & Toddlers
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (or equivalent)
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics for People with Disabilities
- Pool Lifeguard certificate
- A genuine passion for community building and inclusive teaching
- ** Availability**:Monday to Friday, ideally available Saturday mornings between 7AM - 12PM
