About the Role

Fulton Hogan is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Estimator to join our dynamic team at Fulton Hogan Utilities. As a key member of our Water Infrastructure Projects team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring teams, working on large tenders, and engaging in current program works under an ECI procurement model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate estimates for Utility based projects, primarily focusing on water, and wastewater treatment and distribution
  • Obtain and review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers, and design consultants
  • Conduct research to gather data on labour costs, materials, production times, and more
  • Liaise with designers and suppliers to obtain information and calculate costs
  • Follow and reinforce our established estimating processes to ensure internal governance and provide senior management with confidence in the tender price presented
Requirements
  • Proven experience, and track record as an Estimator in a tier 1 environment (alternatively experience working on-site in the waste water or utility industry)
  • Experience pricing large and small Water / Waste Water projects – ideally involving Utility Infrastructure
  • Familiarity with financial and project management principles
  • Experience in using Expert Estimator is desired, but not a requirement
  • Experience in estimating O&M rates based opportunities will also be highly regarded
