About the Company

Six Degrees Executive is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in placing top talent in various industries. Our client, a travel brand based in Sandringham, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team.

About the Role

The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for processing invoices, arranging payments to suppliers, and managing employee expenses. The role involves working with a shared services team of 10 and reporting to the Shared Services Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in Accounts Payable functions, a good understanding of accounting procedures, and proficiency in SAP Concur.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices and employee expenses accurately and timely via SAP Concur
  • Manage supplier and employee master data
  • Arrange payments to suppliers across multiple bank platforms in multiple currencies
  • Reconcile key supplier statements
  • Handle stakeholder queries
  • Understand the needs of internal and external stakeholders to provide a 10/10 experience
  • Share knowledge and assist fellow team members
  • Participate in reviewing existing procedures and assessing process improvements
About You
  • Experience in Accounts Payable functions with a good understanding of accounting procedures
  • Experience with a large ERP, with SAP Concur exposure highly advantageous
  • High level of attention to detail with proven quality and accuracy of work
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Proactive research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • A true team player
  • Intermediate level of Word and Excel
