About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and caring Support Worker to join our team in the North Region. As a Support Worker, you will be visiting clients in their own homes, providing personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, and social support.

This is a casual opportunity, with immediate start for successful applicants. You will be required to have your own car and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare and serve meals to clients
  • Prompt clients to take their medication
  • Provide social support to clients, including companionship and emotional support

Requirements
  • Experience in providing care within the Aged Care, Disability or Veteran sectors
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability, Nursing Students who have completed their first year placement preferred (not essential)
  • Car and Drivers license are a must
  • Current CPR & Manual Handling certification or willingness to obtain
  • Friendly and caring with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
  • Professional and clear communication skills to enable effective communication with our clients
