We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Field Officer to provide quality advice and support on a broad range of issues related to the vocational education and training system in Queensland.
This role requires an individual who can deliver high-quality, well-researched advice, interpretation and feedback to senior managers, colleagues, clients and stakeholders on a wide range of issues impacting Queensland's vocational education and training system (VET).
The Senior Field Officer will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment to support and oversee staff or work independently depending on operational needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership, support and advice to industry partners, client groups and stakeholders on the regional programs and services administered by the department.
- Contributing to the development, implementation, management and evaluation of regional activities, including operational planning, system development, information management, data integrity and governance processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, be able to conduct analyses and make evidence-based recommendations, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:
- A strong understanding of the vocational education and training system in Queensland.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
