Swimming Coach Opportunity
Job Description:As a highly skilled and passionate swimming coach, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in delivering a structured coaching program that supports swimmers at all levels.
You will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality swim coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities. This includes fostering a positive and inclusive environment for swimmers and their families, building strong relationships with club members, and supporting the development and progression of swimmers in line with club goals.
Additionally, you will lead and mentor our team of coaches across all levels, helping them learn and grow professionally. You will also work directly with our National Squads, running programs that meet state and national standards, and create and implement SMART training plans that help swimmers develop over the long term.
Our ideal candidate is a motivated and community-minded coach with a passion for swimming and youth development. They bring energy, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset to their work, and thrive in a team environment.
Requirements:- Current Swimming Australia Coach Accreditation
- At least five years of coaching experience (including state/national level)
- A strong understanding of athlete development and talent pathways
- Experience leading a coaching team and building positive culture
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A passion for coaching, wellbeing, and community sport
- Current Working with Children Check, CPR and First Aid
- A current driver's licence and legal right to work in Australia
