About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Equity Analyst to join our Research team at Susquehanna Pacific. As an Equity Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying investment opportunities and providing in-depth analysis of country and sector-level trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends and catalyst events
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the companies and sectors under coverage
  • Collaborate with traders and senior analysts to identify and capitalize on investment opportunities
  • Provide real-time opinions and insights on breaking news and market developments
  • Evaluate special situations such as mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions
  • Travel to company events and conferences as required

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in finance or a related field
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline from an Australian or New Zealand University
  • Prior experience in fundamental company research and analysis
  • Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with trading environments and derivative products
  • Working knowledge of major asset classes
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
