We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Porter to join our team at Qantas International Lounges, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive the highest level of service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and greet guests at kerbside, assisting with luggage and ensuring a seamless check-in experience
  • Regularly inspect the foyer and curbside areas, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and presentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to lounge patrons, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Ensure guests are entering the correct lounges, understanding boarding passes and providing clear instructions
  • Assist with repetitive heavy lifting of passenger luggage, demonstrating physical ability and stamina
  • Explain airport and lounge facilities to guests, answering questions and providing relevant information
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth customer experience, including Qantas Hosts and F&B teams
  • Adhere to grooming, performance, and conduct standards at all times, maintaining a professional appearance
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues
  • Impeccable grooming and professional appearance, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, with a focus on delivering exceptional service
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects, with a strong work ethic
  • Able to obtain Federal Police clearance to work in restricted areas associated with the airport
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
