The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an analyst with strong technical skills and excellent stakeholder engagement.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare management reports for executive leaders and monthly financial reporting and analysis for programs.
  • Develop budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Support financial systems transformation, including Sage Intacct implementation and integration with other platforms.
  • Provide high-quality reporting, variance analysis, and insights for informed decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, translating complex financial information for non-finance audiences.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Certified Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification or working towards.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in finance, in an analyst role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Experience in reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated experience in the NFP or human services sector, including fund/grant reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience using Excel and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
