We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the transfer of knowledge across the organisation regarding key risk security practices. This will involve maintaining relationships with business groups and supporting other security advisors.

This role requires strong interpersonal and consultative skills, experience performing security risk assessments, and knowledge of information security practices and policies. The ideal candidate will also be curious, creative and friendly, with excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with business groups to promote security awareness and best practices.
  • Support other security advisors in their roles.
  • Participate in internal and external security forums to stay up-to-date with emerging security technologies.
  • Evaluate new security products and advise on implementation.
  • Investigate security incidents and develop security best practices tailored to our environment, culture and needs.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
  • Experience performing security risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of information security practices and policies.
  • Curious, creative and friendly.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
