We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join our team. This 10-month contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in the public sector, utilizing your skills in training management, administration, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and monitor training sessions, including room bookings, calendar invitations, and set-up.
  • Provide support for training courses and coordinate the approval and booking of external training requests.
  • Analyze new starter forms and update skills matrices.
  • Coordinate various programs and projects within the Learning and Development department.
  • Maintain the Learning and Development SharePoint site and support marketing efforts for L&D events.
  • Monitor and manage the L&D inbox, responding to or escalating requests in a timely manner.
  • Process and monitor progress of study assistance applicants.
  • Support the planning, update, and release of eLearning compliance modules.
  • Update existing eLearning modules and research and develop eLearning solutions with support from the L&D Advisor and Manager.
  • Set up and distribute Compliance eLearning and create Process Maps for all L&D processes.
  • Contribute to internal social media campaigns and assist with content creation.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an L&D Administrator role is essential.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, ELMO, and Articulate is highly desirable.
  • Previous public sector experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills are required.
  • A high level of attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
