Job Opportunity Overview

The role of a Specialist Technician is highly sought after at Bytewize, where we are seeking experienced IT professionals to join our team in both contract and ongoing employment positions.

Successful candidates will be employed by the Department of Education to deliver technical support services through the Technical Support to Schools Program (TSSP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across schools.
  • Administer and support school networks and server environments.
  • Provide ICT support services in large, technology-driven learning environments.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Hyper-V virtualisation administration.
  • Administration of Windows and Linux-based servers.
  • Cloud service administration.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment and administration.
  • Advanced enterprise networking.
  • Cisco wireless technologies.
  • SOE and image deployment, with advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience supporting large fleets of desktops and notebooks.
  • Experience with 1:1 and BYOD device planning, deployment, and management.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
