Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our waste management team as a Weighbridge Attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the weighbridge system, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance to customers to ensure safe and efficient disposal of waste, while adhering to statutory and environmental requirements.
  • Promoting diversion from landfill and resource recovery through effective communication and education.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across different areas of the facility to achieve operational excellence.
  • Handling end-to-end administration and financial processes related to waste disposal and management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a regulated environment with a strong focus on health and safety.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound experience in administrative and financial tasks, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Current C-class driver's license and Construction Induction Card competency are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work a repeating roster, including some weekend days.
