Occupational Therapist Role

About this role:

Novita is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions that support clients in achieving their goals and living life to the fullest.

Key responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload, delivering tailored assistive technology and home modification solutions, designing and evaluating interventions, collaborating across disciplines, mentoring junior therapists, and partnering with clients and families to co-create goals and contribute to NDIS planning.

  • Deliver high-quality client care, utilizing your expertise in occupational therapy to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in the field.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in a variety of OT interventions and the ability to adapt to individual needs.
  • A strong understanding of inclusive, child- and family-centred practices.
  • The ability to translate therapy goals into meaningful outcomes across a variety of real-life settings.
