About the Opportunity:

This is a 3 months temporary to permanent role for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team at Randstad Australia. The role can be permanent from the start if the interview goes well.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Processing sales invoices, booking incoming receipts, and reconciling customers' open items.
  2. Preparing an aging list on a monthly basis.
  3. Updating customer master-data when necessary.
  4. Issuing credit/debit notes once necessary approval has been received.
  5. Preparing Statements of Accounts and sending/discussing with customers.
  6. Following up on the creation of new customers, liaising with the insurance to get coverage.
  7. Answering customer/department queries in relation to accounts.
  8. Managing quarterly factoring activity and related items in customers' balances.
  9. Daily cash clearing and bank reconciliations.
  10. Assisting with payment processing of customer rebates when needed.
  11. Cash flow forecasting on planned receipts/payments.
  12. Supporting internal and external audits as required.
  13. Performing ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience within the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function with an accounting background. They will also bring:

  1. A diploma in Accountancy/LCCI/equivalents qualification or relevant experience.
  2. Prior experience in a similar role (2 years or more).
  3. Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Exposure to SAP system is a must-have.
  5. Intermediate Excel proficiency.
  6. Good time management and problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:

  • $37 - $45 per hour + Super.
  • Once permanent - $70,000 - $85,000 + Super (based on experience) - can go slightly higher based on experience.
  • 3 months temporary to permanent full-time position.
  • Working hours - 9:30am - 6pm.

  • 6 days work from home per month.
