About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Home@Scope.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers with their daily activities and goals through a person-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in supporting 5 of our customers with their daily activities and goals
  • Have experience within the disability sector, including experience dealing with behaviours of concern
  • Be an effective communicator with proven experience in managing a diverse team in the community sector
  • Be strategic in your thinking about how to improve your service and contribute to changes that positively affect your service
  • Enjoy change and work well in leading a team through an ever-changing environment
  • Have the ability to adapt to various situations

Requirements

  • Advanced Diploma of Disability (or equivalence) is required for this role
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
