The Role
We are seeking a Disability Support Professional to join our team in Wangaratta.
Key Responsibilities
- Support 5 customers with their daily activities and goals through a person-centred approach
- Have experience within the disability sector, including experience dealing with behaviours of concern
- Be an effective communicator with proven experience in managing a diverse team in the community sector
- Be strategic in your thinking about how to improve your service and contribute to changes that positively affect your service
- Enjoy change and work well in leading a team through an ever-changing environment
- Have the ability to adapt to various situations
Requirements
- Advanced Diploma of Disability (or equivalence) is required for this role
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee)
- Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years
