Job Title: PM Transport Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Controller to join our team at Linfox Pty Ltd. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods across the Melbourne metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement daily load plans and optimize equipment utilization
  • Manage transport documentation, including load weights, time constraints, and PODs
  • Supervise subcontractors and fleet requirements to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of daily workloads
  • Maintain close communication with on-site customers to ensure seamless execution
  • Ensure accurate KPI reports and alignment with customer expectations
  • Foster a cooperative relationship among operational, transport, and administrative staff
  • Assist with managing additional transport costs and demonstrating a commitment to safety and compliance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Transport Allocator/Scheduler in a busy logistics environment
  • In-depth understanding of load configurations, weights, and truck trailer type allocation
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and utilizing a TMS and WMS
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
