About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in Canberra. As a Physiotherapist with Baptistcare NSW & ACT, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention to clients under Aged Care Funding
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy programs to promote independence and restore functional independence
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients
- Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy services and programs
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Authority
- Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients in the community
- Postgraduate experience working in a variety of aged care services, including the community
- Comprehensive understanding of health and well-living models, including reablement and restorative care models
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilize required software to support working from home
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Baptistcare NSW & ACT's Christian identity and promote the organisation's values through interactions at work
- Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Valid unrestricted driver's license and a reliable registered vehicle with minimum of Third-Party Insurance
