Job Description

The Therapeutic Practice Coordinator will work closely with regional operations teams to provide high-quality therapeutic care to young people. This role involves overseeing the daily care of young individuals and playing a key role in influencing case planning to ensure care decisions are made in their best interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver trusted advice on trauma-informed care, legislative knowledge, and licencing process to inform practice and behaviour support planning.
  • Promote Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and develop tailored training packages for the area.
  • Provide post-crisis support to front-line team members and operational leaders following critical incidents, including critical incident analysis.
  • Facilitate case review functions at a local level, providing recommendations and expertise in care planning through Case Clinics and associated documentation.
  • Ensure the voice of young people is represented through annual surveys, team meetings, and site visits.
  • Consult on intakes and referrals, including risk assessments and supporting the team to prepare properties and plans after a referral has been confirmed.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, or related discipline or Diploma of Community Services (or related discipline) and minimum 2 years relevant experience.
