Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Centre Director to lead our Early Childhood Centre in Melbourne. As a Centre Director, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing a strong culture of collaboration and community among staff and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Centre Management: Manage the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with National Quality Framework (NQF) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Leadership and Team Development: Develop strong relationships with staff and families, fostering engagement and collaboration. Lead the educational curriculum and mentor the team of teachers and educators.
- Staff Management: Work closely with your team to build a strong culture of collaboration and community. Manage staff performance, provide coaching and development opportunities, and ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care and education.
- Family Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring they are informed and engaged in their child's learning and development.
- Quality Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve the quality of care and education provided at the centre, ensuring it meets the needs of children and families.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Children's Services.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years previous Centre Manager experience.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion and Commitment: Passion, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to high-quality care and education.
- Certifications: Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
