Building a long-term career in telecommunications infrastructure is an exciting opportunity for early-career civil or construction workers.

We are seeking a Trades Assistant to assist with the construction and upgrade of telecommunication infrastructure, including towers, foundations, rooftops, compounds, pits & pipe.

  • Site preparation: excavation support, trenching, augering, backfilling, cut & fill, basic levelling, housekeeping
  • Concrete works: reinforcement steel, formwork setup, footings, pours, curing tasks
  • Handling materials, tools, small plant and equipment safely
  • Supporting rigging and dogging activities under supervision
  • Assisting with fencing, compound establishment, pit & pipe installation, earthing and minor reinstatement

Regularly work at heights once trained and competent (tower and rooftop environments).

About You:

To be considered you will hold the following qualifications:

  • 6-12 months labouring, civil, construction works, landscaping or trade assistant experience
  • Construction White Card
  • Australian Drivers Licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • National Police Clearance
