Telecommunications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Specialist to join our team in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities related to our Offshore project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with operations, maintenance, engineering, and outside vendors and subcontracted personnel to obtain specific information related to onshore maintenance requirements.
  • Provide expert advice, support, technical or functional information (related to estimating and work pack preparation) as required.
  • Develop and coordinate work packs and supporting documentation to ensure efficient execution.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities in accordance with client procedures and standards, through to the implementation of maintenance execution plans.
  • Oversee the full spectrum of planning, considering materials, resourcing, and equipment procurement.
  • Maintain and develop a knowledge base of maintenance management systems and planning tools with daily use of SAP.
Requirements:
  • Australian Trade certificate in Electrotechnology, Communications, or equivalent (essential).
  • Electrical licence – Restricted or above (Highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of the inspection and calibration of telecom systems such as PA / GA, Telephony, LAN, Radio, CCTV, Meteorological, Entertainment.
  • Extensive working knowledge and experience with SAP PM or other CMMS systems.
  • Proficiency in the use of key Microsoft products (Word & Excel).
  • Experience in certified equipment and hazardous areas (EEHA inspection).
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate across all levels.
  • Full Australian working rights (with no limitations).
