About Us:

The Wardandi Wanil Art Centre represents a historic first for Bunbury as a dedicated First Nations arts space in Wardandi Boodja.

We are proud to support the creative home for First Nations artists, storytelling, and community connection located in the heart of the CBD.

Job Overview:

This is a highly collaborative and people-first role with real impact—helping artists create, exhibit, and sell their work in a culturally safe, vibrant, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage artist development programs, exhibitions, and events
  • Coordinate artist payments, contracts, and administration
  • Provide leadership and guidance to retail staff to ensure an excellent visitor experience
  • Oversee artist studios, sales, and merchandise development
  • Facilitate programming in consultation with the advisory body and elders
  • Build partnerships and source funding through grants and sponsorships
  • Cultivate relations with galleries, institutions, and community partners

Your Role:

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wardandi Wanil Art Centre. This involves managing projects, leading teams, and ensuring the Centre is a welcoming space for artists and visitors alike.
